When her baby brother is kidnapped by the Goblin King (played by the one-and-only David Bowie), 16-year-old Sarah has to solve an elaborate labyrinth to rescue him.
Programmer Notes: David Bowie is amazing, but that’s not the only reason we chose this surreal coming of age tale. We hope that parents who knew this movie from their own childhoods can rediscover a story of creative power and imagination in theaters with their own kids.
